The lamp has more settings than it needs but it does the job to illuminate your page in whatever variation of color and brightness you need. The one thing that takes a bit of time to get used to is the On/Off 'switch' because pressing it doesn't work well. If you slide your finger onto the switch from behind, it works fine. If not, the lamp dims quickly to its lowest setting.

I just purchased a second lamp for my second desk lighting. The four temperature LED's are great giving less glare than non-adjustable lamps.
