Very high quality lamp...

This is not your average desk lamp. The quality is phenomenal. The price is high, but it's worth it.I've always used relatively inexpensive (~$20-$30) desk lamps. My reasoning boiled down to: a lamp is a lamp. I recently had an adjustable LED one with multiple light color temperatures. This TaoTronics lamp outperforms it in every way.You can actually see the difference between the color temperatures and none of them are overly harsh or otherwise displeasing. The 3000k is very similar to a true incandescent bulb, the 4000k is very close to true sunlight coming in from a window, and the 5000k is much cooler. My eyes get strained easily, but this lamp has improved that. I think the diffusing panels over the bulbs help by softening the glow.I really like the 45 minute timer function. I often stay at my desk for hours without taking a break. I've been using the timer to remind myself to get up.

My dream desk lamp, it looks great on my study!

This lamp is absolutely stunning! When I got it I didn??t find where are the bulbs, it looks like a round shaped mirror! However, when I turn it on, it is so bright to see every corner of my desk, this is no need to buy a floor lamp for my study, I was so satisfied with it!

Perfect work lamp!

I am super impressed with this lamp - I purchased it because I was at the end of my rope while looking for suitably bright desk lamps for my dark office. This thing goes above and beyond - it's super bright in all of its modes (save for the night light mode, of course), while also being plenty adjustable. On top of this, it simply looks great, and has build quality far superior to other products I've tried.

Worth It

I wasn't sure why a relatively simple looking desk lamp would cost upwards of $100, but after unboxing and plugging it in, the price seems quite reasonable. The quality and feel of this lamp is superb. You often see articulated desk lamps like this with locking joints. Not this one. It is perfectly balanced and the joints can be adjusted freely without worrying about the lamp falling over or sagging down. The lamp is plenty bright for illuminating a desk or its occupant and the quality of the light is something to behold. It's hard to describe without seeing it for yourself, but if you've ever visited a photography or movie set, you've seen how good quality lighting is both bright and soft. Unlike typical lights where the light is emitted from visible LEDs, this light hides the LEDs inside the lamp and uses reflectors and diffusers to soften and even out the light. The lamp also has some really cool features that just make it stand out. For one, the vast majority of the light is projected in one direction, but a small amount also filters out the other side of the glass. The glass is partially transparent even when the lamp is on, which gives it a futuristic, high-tech vibe. And speaking of high-tech, the touch controls on the base are not limited to just buttons, but also allow you to slide your finger across the brightness control, which is very neat. There are at least 3 different color temperatures to choose from, maybe more. It appears to have a timer function as well, though I haven't tried that yet.All in all, this is a very high-quality desk lamp that really earns its high price tag and combines an impressive level of both form and function to produce a product that is hard to forget once you've tried it. Highly recommended.
