I see poor reviews but I don't understand them. Wife got me this for XMAS and it is awesome. one battery charge lasts 6-9 months with use about twice a month... It has long stroke and powerful at any speed. It has a very wide speed selection from slow pound to high speed "vibration". It is light and ergonomic enough for you to use on yourself and get almost everywhere. I use it when I get bad congestion headaches, to massage drainage ducts. I also use it on my head, just not strait on, the stroke is too long, but if you just use it to side massage head, it promotes blood flow and just feels good. I lost the attachments years ago and want to see if I can buy them separately again :( I wanted to give it a 1 star rating just to talk to all the people that just look at the critical reviews and avoid phoney reviews, but I hated to impact their overall rating.

Very disappointing product, barely enough power for true deep muscle work. Additionally, customer service to get a refund or replacement has been unnecessarily lengthy and frustrating. Save your money and research a different product, definitely not worth the headache over this
Good if you value battery life over sound quality; sound kind of soda can quality audio. The magnetic buds perform well. I do with the neck strap were a little tighter as it tends to move around if you lay down.
This is my 2nd Tao lamp and I love the amount of light it gives me for working on the papercraft projects I make
