Work well and the remote is small in my hand but works well. I love the dimming function of the lights. I hung them over the bed and it makes it easy to slowly go to sleep and to wake, adjusting the light every so often.

Good value and very attractive despite their small size. Be careful unwrapping the string of lights from the toilet-paper sized cardboard tube they are shipped in. Unroll them in a straight line on a flat surface by rolling the tube rather than by taking them off by hand-over-hand method as that twists the little wires into small loops. Same thing goes when recovering them for storage and I used a large diameter cardboard tube from first a roll of paper towels and then switched to an even larger diameter cardboard gizmo that decorative Christmas package wrapping ribbon had been stored on. The added feature of the included remote control and varying display options was a real plus ! Hope they go on sale again next season, I will be watching for them to buy another two or three strings.

** Amazon Customer Questions & Answers **
The questions and answers below were created by Amazon customers, who are not affiliated or in any way officially connected with Taotronics. Please follow their advice at your own discretion.
1.Can you connect one set of strings to another set? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I purchased this splitter "https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G6G5DJ0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1" to connect these LED lights "33ft 100 LED String Lights Dimmable with Remote Control, TaoTronics Waterproof Decorative Lights for Bedroom, Patio, Garden, Gate, Yard, Parties, Wedding ( Copper Wire Lights, Warm White ) " and the splitter should work for you.
2.Are they 220 V or only 110v? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: 110v
3.How does it compare to the old model and remote? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: I don't trust the remote which is probably foolish. I manually plug in and unplug the string lights and I never use the blinking function as my spouse and I don't care for blinking lights.
4.Do the lights have a rechargeable power source or do they need to be plugged into outlets? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: They need to be plugged into an outlet.
5.It looks like a euro plug - does this come with a US plug? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: It comes with a U.S. plug
6.How many watts does the 66ft use? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: About one! (I believe) at least on low... perhaps a couple more on high.
7.What’s the default mode when plugging in the unit? Will it remember last mode if unplugged? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Mine remembers intensity. I’ve never tried to see if it remembers mode.
8.What type of battery is needed for the remote (i.e., what number button cell)? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Lithium "watch battery". CR2032, I believe.
9.Need to know how many watts it uses Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: Measured 2.3 watt on 100% brightness on my meter. Lowest brightness barely registered.
10.Battery powered or 110 AC plug? Customers are chatting about this View conversation
A: 110 AC
